HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition keeps on going and looks to the future, to pave the way for the new international fashion trends: therefore, in the wake of the moodboards displayed during the days of the fair, with the inspirations of the two macro-trends of the next two years - poptimism and choiceland - analysed by Poli.Design, a digital talk was organised to explore the themes in greater depth.
Poptimism is a neologism born from the fusion of "pop" and "optimism": it is characterised by exuberant, vibrant and often unexpected shapes and colours. That's why it is about play, fun and joy. It can be a classic revisited with ironic elements, it can revive vintage with vivid filters or portray a "crazy" aspect of the fashion accessory and jewel. Everything that can be "fun" and "bold", while looking with spirit at the world of sustainability
Choiceland is freedom to be and to choose. It flows into Gen Z and therefore shares its values, such as self-expression, fluidity, creativity and socialisation. It's all about communication, the beauty of diversity as well as the celebration of love in all its forms.
