Interpreting the needs and requests of new generations has always been one of the main goals for the HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition. To this end, in September the show turned to the students at Poli.Design, carrying out a series of interviews which provided interesting insight into Millennials’ tastes, preferences, and the reasons they buy a fashion accessory.
Important values emerged, particular attention being paid to proposals that have real communicative strength and can speak of an individual’s story, character and essence. Essentially then, fashion accessories and bijoux that serve as an extension of the wearer’s personality. Environmentally-friendly characteristics, such as natural colours or attention to important, worthy materials, are a further important factor and become another criteria by which to make a selection and measure value.
